So why the name peaches&gumbo?? Simple, well actually it wasnt that simple. One of my best friends and I went through several names before coming up with one that really described me, or at least the most important aspects that make me, well me.

In 1987, I was born in the jazz capital of the nation New Orleans. Which gives us the gumbo portion. Shortly thereafter, my family moved to the new Black Mecca, Atlanta, which gives us the peaches portion. You are probably like ok whats the big deal, so you’re from these places how does that describe you??

I believe that where a person is from definitely has a significant role in the shaping of who you are as a person. Your geographical background can tell a person a lot about what you probably will say, how and why you think the way you do, what you wear and what type of life you lead. Now of course there are exceptions to every rule but more often than not you can pretty much figure out what you are gonna get from a person based solely on where they were born and raised.
